Loveland Sculptor Ellen Woodbury Lands Prestigious Grant

A great article was in the FOCUS section of Loveland’s Reporter-Herald newspaper today.   My stone sculpture won the 2019 Marilyn Newmark Grant from the National Sculpture Society.  This award recognizes a meritorious body of work in animal sculpture.  The article is written by Shelley Widhalm, a local writer and author.

Shelley wrote a great piece about my work, my history as a Disney Animator, and my plans for a possible project as a result of winning the grant.

This award is a great honor for me.  The recognition for my stone sculpture is very validating!
