Shows and Galleries

These are locations where my sculpture currently may be seen, as well as venues where my sculpture has been shown in the past.

These are my upcoming and past shows.

Featured Sculpture:
"Quiet"

I am pleased and proud to have my stone sculpture, “Quiet”, juried into this gorgeous and highly competitive show.  155 artworks were selected from 1,250 entries from professional women artists nationwide.

This piece is a tribute to finding the quiet place within yourself to relax and refresh.  It is ironic that stone sculpting with power tools is the quintessential noisy creative process.

Here is the link to my blog post for Quiet.  Thanks for looking, and thanks for reading.

"Hero Rat"

Artists For Conservation 2023 International Exhibition of Nature in Art will post their online juried show in September 2023.   I am proud to be a member AFC promoting stewardship of our planet through my stone sculpture.

“Hero Rat” is homage to Magawa, the land mine-sniffing rat who was awarded a gold medal for clearing 55 acres of land in Cambodia.  He retired with this honor and passed away in 2021of old age.  The HeroRat program is part of a Belgian non-profit called APOPO.  It is a terrific example of humans and animals working together to make the world a better place for everybody.

Featured Sculpture:
"Top Cat"

My large bronze sculpture, Top Cat, was selected for display in Northglenn’s beautiful E.B. Rains Jr. Park as part of the Art on Parade year-long sculpture show/installation in Northglenn, CO.  It is a delight to stroll through this lakefront park to see outdoor sculpture, beautiful gardens, and a whimsical new playground that looks like an interactive sculpture installation.

You have the option to vote for your favorite sculpture as part of this show.  The sculpture winning this People’s Choice Award is purchased by the city and permanently installed in Northglenn.  The ballot is located on the Art on Parade website listed above.

All of the sculptures in the 2023-2024 show are imaginative and fun.  Top Cat is in good company for her first adventure in public art.  Thank you for visiting, and thank you for voting!
