I worked on “Meet the Robinsons” for about 2 months and resigned from Disney Feature Animation on October 28, 2005.

Stone Sculpture

My animation dream had played out after 20 magnificent years.  I was thrilled to move to Colorado and dive into bronze sculpture.  Stone sculpture was still an unconscious goal at this early time.  My work on “Meet the Robinsons” was brief, only until escrow closed on our old house.  I was ready for a change.

“Fish Out of Water” was one of my early stone sculptures.  It is biographical in that I doubted there was an animator within 300 miles of me in Colorado.  It is easy to change your address, but tough to change your identity.
